Hello There,

When I came from the army I was eager to make my license for bikes. While going forward in the process of learning, I was looking in every Paper for bikes on the market. I went through all of them and I saw the Savage. It was not a usual picture from the left or right side. It was shot from the lower front of the Savage. I was staring at the massive pipe that came out of the block. I instantly fell in love. I must commit that I was a little bit disappointed by the look I discovered at the dealer. She was small, but somehow she attracted me. Everyone told me not to buy this bike. "Dirk, this bike is too small for you, it is suspended hard, it has no power and you cannot upgrade it to more HP. But I bought her anyway. And my decision should proof as right.

I made my Licence on a BMW. It was O.K. and I really had nothing to complain about that bike, on the other hand, there was nothing nice about it.

When I first started my Savage it was a blast of impressions. To me she made the impression of a powerful bike. The Sound was great. I don't really know why, but it sounded like the most clean chamber I could think of. While riding I could really imagine how that big thing inside was going up and down. I mean on the Savage you can really feel it. You pull gas and she pulls you without complaining.

While riding her for 5 years now I often thought about her size and sometimes thought it is not a complete bike. But looking at all these unfinished HD copies on the market I was always hapy to ride a bike that is really unique and has its own style.

The Savage is honest!!! When Yamaha introduced the Drag Star to the market I considered buying it. But taking a close look at it I discovered that nearly nothing on this bike is honest. I mean all the covers and that stuff.

Until a larger bike is on the market that has a charakter like the Savage I will ride her without a doubt riding the right bike.

Bye, Dirk
